MovieThrone is designed to work without requiring a user account. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number to our servers.
Your movie lists, vault limits, and preferences are stored on your device and synchronized across your devices using Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) and iCloud Key-Value Storage. This ensures your data is available after app reinstallation or on a new device. We do not have access to this data; it is stored securely within your personal Apple ID infrastructure.
Image processing for movie recognition from screenshots is performed entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework. No images are uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.
Our app uses the TMDB (The Movie Database) API to provide movie information. When you search for movies, a request is sent to TMDB. Please note that TMDB may collect non-personal data as part of their standard API operations. You can find their privacy policy on their official website.
We may use standard Apple App Store analytics to monitor app performance and crashes. This data is anonymized by Apple and does not identify you personally.
